Frequently Asked Questions when Coming to Visit us

Hello! We’re really keen for you to feel as welcome as you can whether you are just visiting or wondering about joining us. We have put a few details below which maybe helpful.

How do I find the church?

St John's

St John’s is in the centre of Cove. To get to St John’s by car you will need to enter St John’s road from Fleet Road.

Where to park?

There is a car park by the church hall and parking in the layby at the end of St John’s Road.

Christ Church

Christ Church is on the Cove Road next to the Trademans Arms and almost opposite Tesco Extra.

Where to park?

We have a small car park which can be accessed from St Christopher’s Place. We are also able to park in the office block car park on St Christopher’s Place on a Sunday.

Do you have any groups for my children?

We have children’s groups each Sunday, for more details click here

I’m not used to going to church will it still be ok for me to come?

Whether you have been coming to church since a baby or never been before you are welcome. There is no pressure to join in, and If you don’t know much about the Christian faith then we would love to invite you to our next alpha course which will start on 20th January 2021.

When are the Sunday Services across The Parish of Cove?

You are most welcome to join us on a Sunday! After not having been able to use our church buildings for many months, we are delighted to welcome worshippers back and we would really love you to join us. We are also live streaming our 10:30 service so you are able to watch on Facebook or YouTube if you are unable to get a space in the building or you are self-isolating/shielding

We have two in-person services each week

9:00am at St John’s

10:30 am at Christ Church which is also streamed to Facebook and YouTube

We have an online evening service at 7pm (this is currently online only)

Our Facebook Page also contains all the latest news, details of events, services and a growing archive of videos. We live stream to Facebook and premiere pre-recorded services each week.

We also have a thriving community group on Facebook for members of our Church Family.
