Three Kings Fiesta

Cove Parish is holding an activity afternoon for children aged 4 to 11 years, on the theme of the Three Kings. The Three Kings’s  festival on January 6th is a major Christian celebration in Spain and Latin American countries so we will be having a go at making some traditional cakes, creating our own shooting stars and designing stained glass windows, as well as playing exciting themed games  such as the camel relay race and the Three Kings chocolate game.  The children will learn the true story of the search of the Three Kings to find the child Jesus and discover why it is important to search for Jesus in our lives today.  The session is from 3pm-5.30 pm on Sunday, 6th January and entry is free.

Parents are welcome to attend, either on their own or with younger siblings who can join in the crafts with parental supervision and watch the games.

All you need to do is to register by filling in the registration form and leaving it at one of the three named parish churches. before JANUARY 3RD at the latest.  You can also register by emailing rosie.murkin@gmail.com with the relevant details, although you will need to sign the consent form when you come on the day itself.
