Weddings at Cove Parish churches

I want to get married in church -what should I do?

Congratulations! We'd like to help you plan your very special Wedding. Legally, you can only get married in the parish church where you live; so, to get married in St John's or St Christopher's Cove, at least one of you must live in this parish (see below for a simple map of the parish boundary). The only exceptions to this are if you worship in our churches as a signed-up member, or with special permission from the Archbishop of Canterbury's Faculty Office. You could phone 01252 371804 or email the parish office to fix an appointment to ask about your Wedding here.

Other questions arise if you have been married before. Contact us telling us your phone number and where you live, and we'll talk through what happens next.
