Services at Cove

Where and when are the main services?

 

All three churches, St John's, St Christopher's and Southwood Church each have a 10am service on a Sunday, which is their main service.

 

What about other services?

In addition to our 10am Sunday services, we also have in the parish:

 

• A simple Communion without hymns held at St John's each Sunday morning at 8am

• A simple Communion without hymns held at St Christopher's each Wednesday morning at 10am

• A very informal service at 4pm on a Sunday at St John's Church Hall (next to St John's) called 'The Meeting Place'

• Throughout the year (e.g. at Easter Week and Christmas) we also have a variety of seasonal services

• On the 1st Sunday of each month there is a service with prayers for healing at 6:30pm at St Christopher's. On other Sundays of the month this is held at Cove Methodist (a hundred yards to the right of St Christopher's)
