Little ACE

Who is the ACE youth club for?

ACE Youth club is for teenagers in Year 9 to Year 13 (13-18 year olds).

When and where does it happen?

Every Friday evening in term time at Southwood Community Centre (next to Morrisons) from 8-10pm.

I would like my son or daughter to join the ACE Youth Club -what should I do?

We would love to hear from you! You could Email us and we will tell you more, or simply turn up on a Friday evening to be enrolled! You can download the ACE Registration form here and bring it with you on the night.

What kind of things do you do there?

ACE Youth club has plenty of activities, including: Badminton, Pool, Chill Out Zone, Play Station, Music, DJ Equipment, Table Tennis, ACE Café (where you can buy sweets, soft drinks, hot chocolate, etc), Air Hockey, Darts, Beauty Treatment Area and Pool. We have also had special evenings, including bungee run and karaoke!

Who runs it?

ACE Youth club is run by a large team members of Southwood Church, together with some church members from across the whole parish. All leaders are fully CRB checked, and come under the authority and oversight of the parish clergy and Cove Parochial Church Council. We seek to run a safe, secure, fun, well organised, responsible church youth group for the benefit of the young people of this area and the community as a whole. ACE recently won a government 'Respect' award for services to the local community.

How much is it?

£2 per evening.

What is Little ACE?

Little ACE meets in the Chill Out Zone at the Club from 6.30-7.30pm before ACE Youth club starts. Little ACE is also for teenagers in Year 9 to Year 13 (13-18 year olds). We normally have food and discussion, sometimes drama as we learn in an engaging, constructive and fun way about Christianity. Do feel free to contact us if you have any questions.
